Replace the large o-ring and put the cover back on. Compress the springs under the cover with your hand and start the screws on each corner. Slowly tighten each corner a little at a time to ensure the springs and o-ring seat correctly. And thats it for the kit. Super easy and relatively cheap. 4 posts · Joined 2010. #1 · Dec 28, 2014 (Edited by Moderator) Hello, I have an LR3 2005. Replaced air compressor, two front air springs shock struts, and suspension valve. However, I see the suspension drops overnight about 1 inch in the front and 1/2 inch in the back. When I start the engine in the morning the vehicle lifts up the front It is a kit for the AMK compressor used on certain Mercedes Benz models, which appears to be the same compressor (AMK only have 6 or so compressors, and 2 HD models which are essentially the same, for larger vehicles.) But the kit is not as easy as the Hitachi rebuild as a press is required. First I need to figure out why it keeps thinking it When I attempt to go into access mode, the front of the vehicle will lower and then extended mode will engage. If i quickly press access mode again it'll finally go down into access mode. I'm also starting to get more suspension faults. Any solutions (height sensors, compressor, etc) Jun 27, 2012. #2. I would definitely reduce your use of access height to only when absolutely needed, just to try and prolong the life until it can be replaced. Any workshop should be able to replace the compressor, as it is 3 pipes, 2 electrical connectors, a relay and 6 bolts in total. .
